Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef

  • 3 teaspoon olive oil

  • 1/2 onion

  • 1 clove garlic

  • 12 oz egg noodles, uncooked

  • 1 (24 oz) jar spaghetti sauce

  • 2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese

  • 2 Tablespoon chopped parsley

Directions

  • Bring a big pot of salted water to a boil; add noodles and cook according to package directions. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium high heat. Add the beef and cook for 5 minutes. Add the onion and garlic and cook for another 5 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  • Add the spaghetti sauce and Italian seasoning to the beef mixture and stir to combine.
  • Coat a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray. Pour the beef and noodle mixture into the 9×13 baking dish. Top with the mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
