Ingredients
24 wonton wrappers
1 pound ground beef
1 oz package taco seasoning
half a medium tomato, diced
half of an onion, diced
1 cup of shredded cheese. I used shredded Mexican cheese.
1/2 cup sour cream
1/3 cup sliced green onion
Top with shredded lettuce, tomatoes or olives if desired.
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large skillet, brown ground beef and taco seasoning following the directions on the package.
- Add diced tomato and onion. Continue cooking for two minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Spray muffin tin with non stick cooking spray.
- Add ONE wonton wrapper to each muffin tin tray. Place a half tablespoon of cheese onto each wrapper.
- Place an additional wrapper on top of cheese with corner on opposite sides. Fill second wrapper with several tablespoons of the beef taco filling using up all the beef filling.
- Top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown and cheese is melted.
