Ingredients

  • Brownie mix (Use your favorite, I prefer Ghirardelli brownie mix)

  • Cooking spray (I like vegetable oil cooking spray) or cupcake liners. You’ll also need a round measuring spoon (you’re going to use the backside of the spoon and need one that fits the size of your brownies. I use a 1/3 cup spoon when making mine)

  • Your favorite Ice cream (we’d be here all day if I had to list my favorite kinds of ice cream but Ben & Jerry’s sounds great right about now)

  • Toppings (If desired. I use whip cream, chocolate syrup, nuts and sprinkles to name a few)

Directions

  • Spray a muffin tin with cooking oil or use cupcake liners. Make the brownie mix according to package directions and fill each cup with 3/4 full. Bake according to package directions. Spray the backside of a measuring cup with vegetable spray or cooking spray.
  • When done! Pull the brownies out and using the sprayed backside of the measuring spoon, press down on the brownie, forming bowl shaped brownies.
  • Allow brownies to cool for a five minutes before taking a spatula around the sides to remove. If you remove too soon, they may crumble. Once the brownies are cooled, you can add your toppings or heat back up in the microwave for several seconds.
  • Now is the Fun part, besides eating them! Add your toppings!
