Are you looking for a tasty beef wonton appetizer? These are the perfect go to! We love these served up as a quick snack.

Ingredients

  • 24 wonton wrappers

  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 1 oz package taco seasoning

  • half a medium tomato, diced

  • half of an onion, diced

  • 1 cup of shredded cheese. I used shredded Mexican cheese.

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 1/3 cup sliced green onion

  • Top with shredded lettuce, tomatoes or olives if desired.

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a large skillet, brown ground beef and taco seasoning following the directions on the package.
  • Add diced tomato and onion. Continue cooking for two minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Spray muffin tin with non stick cooking spray.
  • Add ONE wonton wrapper to each muffin tin tray. Place a half tablespoon of cheese onto each wrapper.
  • Place an additional wrapper on top of cheese with corner on opposite sides. Fill second wrapper with several tablespoons of the beef taco filling using up all the beef filling.
  • Top with remaining cheese.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown and cheese is melted.
