Ingredients
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 cup chicken broth
2 packets ranch seasoning packets
6 boneless skinless chicken breasts (or as your heart desires)
1 box rotini pasta or bow tie pasta (I used rotini this time)
Salt & pepper to taste
*1 tsp chili powder (optional)
*broccoli florets (optional)
*parmesan or mozzarella cheese (whichever you prefer)
Directions
- In a slow cooker on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours, place 2 cans cream of chicken and 1 cup chicken broth, mix will.
- Cut chicken into bite sized pieces and sprinkle one packet of ranch seasoning mix over top. Place into slow cooker and stir.
- Spread evenly the second packet of ranch seasoning mix over top and stir.
- When there is 2 hours left of cooking time, boil your noodles in a pot of salted water according to package directions. Add to slow cooker, stir to evenly blend all ingredients. Continue cooking for at least an hour and a half to soak up some of the liquid.
- *Add salt and pepper to taste. Add paremsan or mozzarella cheese. Enjoy!
- *If using broccoli, add to slow cooker 1 hour before serving. (I did not add them this time, it was game night and I got lazy, but my family likes in this dish.
Notes
- *Yes, you can add pasta to slow cooker when you start cooking this recipe. However, I do not and instead I boil my noodles separately. I find when adding pasta to slow cooker it makes it too mushy for my liking. Either way works, it’s just my preference!
